We have a growing team of people that are excited about helping you get and stay out of pain, as well as achieving your full potential.
We believe in a multi-pronged approach to health:
“Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar.” was said by Greg Glassman, who in one sentence outlined a way to eat that will serve 90% of the population. Michael Pollan also had a great way of putting it, “Eat food. Not too much. Mostly plants.”
It’s simple. We should eat in a way that supports our genetics ability express health. For some that will be more of a challenge, which is why we offer Nutritional Coaching. To teach folks how to fuel themselves and to develop habits they’ll take with them for life.
Use it or lose it. Your body and its’ tissues will always respond to the demands placed upon them. Joints moving in a full range of motion will continue to, and they will maintain their healthy cartilage. Repetitive movements, handed-ness, posture habits, and neglect often sets us up for aches and pains in the best situation, and outright injury in the worst.
We have a Chiropractor, Massage therapist, Kinesiologist, and two Physiotherapists – along with a team of professional coaches whose mission is to help you move well, and continue demanding health from your body.
“As a Man thinketh in his heart, so is he.” – James Allen.
We bring upon ourselves a lot of joy or sorrow, using only our thoughts. And while we can accept that it would take training and practice to be able to run a mile (or a marathon), we have a hard time applying that same thought pattern to feeling content, happy, and fulfilled. It’s a practice. Spending time finding weakness in the gym and exposing it to your efforts, or speaking about things with someone you trust can help a lot.
